Eligibility

Designed for working professionals with foundational experience in the discipline. A post-secondary degree in computer science, IT, business, or related fields may substitute for up to one year of experience. Part-time work, internships, or relevant certifications can also count toward the requirement.

Pre-requisites

To earn the CCBA® designation, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Minimum 3750 hours of BA work experience aligned with the BABOK® Guide in the last 7 years
Minimum 900 hours in each of two of the six knowledge areas or minimum 500 hours in each of four of the six knowledge areas
Minimum 21 hours of Professional Development Training in the past four years
Two references from a career manager, client or CBAP® recipient
Signed Code of Conduct

The CCBA® exam is a 3-hour long course and it consists of 130 multiple choice questions. The questions are scenario-based (i.e. answers need a little bit of analysis).
